Throughout 2016 and 2017, spurred on by imminent regulatory changes, Arctic Hayes has made significant investment in product development, identifying methods to reduce CO2 output and play an important part in reducing industry contribution to global warming.
As a result of the company’s extensive research and development, in 2018, Arctic Hayes will reduce the total annual carbon footprint of its pipe freezing products by over 99.5%. That equates to a real-world reduction of more than 100,000 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide – the equivalent to taking over 21,000 cars off the road!
Working with industry experts, chemists and refrigerant manufacturers, Arctic has developed and introduced a new range of plumbing and heating consumables which unlock the full potential of the next-generation chemicals, including Freeze Sprays, Air Dusters and Lubricants.
Arctic Hayes has been the leading manufacturer in portable pipe freezing systems for over 50 years and has fully embraced the legislative changes introduced by global F-GAS Regulations. The company is focused on evolving the product range to provide even better performance from the next generation of refrigerant gases and will discontinue all use of environmentally harmful refrigerants in early 2018.
