Bassetts open new showrooms in Dungannon and Omagh

The award-winning plumbers’ merchant recently unveiled new bathroom showrooms at the company’s Dungannon and Omagh branches, with plans in place for more investment and growth throughout 2017.

The opening of two newly-redesigned showrooms showcase the company’s growing range of bathroom and tile designs alongside a broad range of plumbing and heating products.

They are also part of a continuing investment programme by the award-winning plumbers’ merchants.

After rounding off 2016 by being named as the Best Heating and Plumbing Merchant in the UK at the Builders’ Merchants Awards for Excellence in London, Bassetts is keen to build on that momentum.

“Winning the Best Heating and Plumbing Merchant in the UK for a second time was the icing on the cake of what was an already successful year,” said Alan Wright, Managing Director of Bassetts. “We want to build on that and, moving forward, we have plans in place to continue investing in our 15 branches across Northern Ireland and to continue to grow the company.”

The success of 2016 will be hard to top. As well as the award-winning success, Bassetts invested over £500,000 in its branch network. This was in addition to the acquisition of Mid-Ulster’s oldest plumbers’ merchant, Clady Plumbing Supplies in Portglenone, and only a year since opening a new ‘showroom only’ branch at Boucher Crescent, Belfast.

But with plans already in place for the Autumn opening of a newly-refurbished showroom at the new Clady store, it is clear the company is not resting on its laurels.

Alan concluded, “We continually strive to bring the best ranges and pride ourselves on our ability to meet the needs of our clients, including our many trade customers. We are proud of the continued growth we have experienced in the province and we are delighted to reinvest this into the business to offer our customers greater choice and service.

“Whether it is improvements to our branches, additions to our product range or the introduction of new technology, our focus is on providing the best possible service to our customers. That commitment will be central to our continuing investment plans.”

Bassetts has branches in Bangor, Belfast, Clady, Coleraine, Downpatrick, Dungannon, Lisburn, Greencastle, L’Derry, Mallusk, Newry, Portadown and Omagh.
