Plumbing & Heating Magazine celebrates its 100th issue

100 issues on, Plumbing & Heating Magazine continues to shine a spotlight on the best industry news, projects and products from across Ireland...

Plumbing & Heating Magazine is celebrating 100th issue.

When we launched our magazine back in 2001, little did we know that we would hit our 100th issue milestone during such an extraordinary year.

A global pandemic, lockdowns, Zoom calls and remote working – just like the rest of the plumbing and heating industry, we had to pivot and adapt to continue to operate during these unprecedented times. But we’re used to change and we’ve come a long way since our first issue.

Originally known as Plumbing & Heating in Northern Ireland, the magazine was aimed specifically at the trade in the province. We launched a sister publication in 2008 to cover the Republic of Ireland market before merging both titles into Plumbing & Heating Magazine. Since then, we have become the voice of the plumbing and heating industry across the whole of Ireland.

But we are more than just a magazine. The added value of our annual trade show and also our awards ceremony have helped to boost the local industry, while our digital and social platforms spread the achievements of our readers and advertisers globally.

Karen McAvoy, Managing Director of KMP Ltd, – publishers of Plumbing & Heating Magazine – said, “We continue to listen to what the industry wants – that’s the secret to our success. This is a time of massive flux in the industry brought on by issues like new climate change regulations, Brexit and Covid-19 restrictions. We look forward to hearing the views of our readers and advertisers on how we can continue to evolve to reflect these changes.

“If you feel we need to be covering a specific issue, please let us know. This is your magazine.”

Jacqui Fairley, Publication Manager added, “These are unprecedented times, but we will continue to provide the perfect platforms for the industry to grow and focus on the many positives that exist right across the plumbing and heating sector.”
