MacBlair Plumbing has opened a new plumbing and heating trade counter as part of a refurbishment at the branch.
“We have enjoyed significant growth in the plumbing and heating sector, so we have expanded what we can offer with the new MacBlair Plumbing trade counter,” explained Branch Manager, David Gill. “We have been specifically targeting the plumbing and heating trade over the last year and we have received a lot of positive feedback about what we offer, so it made sense to invest in this way.”
The expert team is headed up by Treavor Coalter, Shop Manager, along with Jason McWhirter, who works on the counter. Trevor has been with the company for a number of years and is widely experienced while, as a trained plumber, Jason is well placed to offer advice and guidance to customers.
Last year’s rebranding saw the company change its name from Antrim Building Supplies to MacBlair, and the new signage and approach have helped place a greater emphasis on the plumbing and heating offering at the branch.
With a Watershed Bathroom and Tiles showroom also based at the branch, both trade and retail customers are also catered for.
David added, “We are strongly established within the trade and while we have become more retail friendly, a lot of our trade customers are using the Watershed showroom to showcase the solutions and products on offer. It’s a win-win situation for everyone.”
With an easily accessible location at Springfarm Industrial Estate on the Ballymena Road this ensures that more customers will be able to benefit from MacBlair Plumbing Antrim
“This is a strong branch and the refurbishment has been the result of communication with our customers about how we can improve,” David explained. “The feedback has already been positive, despite work only having been finished very recently.
“We have a varied range of customers and we work exceptionally hard to meet their requirements. The branch has been in operation for a long time and we are proud of the fact that we have been able to retain the loyalty of a strong group of customers. But we’re always striving to improve and I hope that this latest investment proves that we listen and react to the needs of our customers.”
