Based in Stoke-on-Trent, Phil Webb is now responsible for managing and supporting FLIR’s distributor network in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland as well as the North of England and Scotland.
An essential element of the job is product training, a task for which Phil is extremely well qualified. He holds Level 3 in electrical installation and Level 2 in thermography, electrical inspection, test and initial verification.
He joins FLIR from one of the company’s main distributors, Acute Sales, so he already has a deep working knowledge of the hand-held products he now directly represents. These extend from FLIR Test and Measurement instrumentation, through the pocket-portable FLIR C2 and troubleshooting FLIR Ex and Exx Series, to the top-of-range FLIR T1K; and all models in between.
“Having been involved in the sale of FLIR products for a long time, I know they are the Rolls Royce of the industry,” Phil explained. “I jumped at the chance to work for the company direct as no other manufacturer comes close in terms of build quality and usability.
