Grant continues to drive the industry with ultimate consumer endorsement

Congratulations on receiving a Which? Best Buy accolade for your entire range of oil- red condensing boilers. Can you tell us a little more about the range itself?
Our Grant Vortex range is our most popular range of condensing oil boilers and with up to 97% efficiency is one of the most efficient boilers on the market. The Vortex range offers home- owners and installers greater variety and flexibility. It is tailored for every situation and includes an assortment of internal, external, wall hung, boiler house and combi models – some of our models are compact in size, offering homeowners the perfect home heating solution when little space is available. Furthermore, the range is extremely user-friendly and offers easy installation and maintenance.

This isn’t the first time Grant has received a Which? Best Buy is it?

No it isn’t the first time we have received a Which? Best Buy. Our Grant Vortex Indoor Combi boiler also received a Which? Best Buy Award in 2008. The Combi offers great efficiency ratings and is specifically designed to offer homeowners a cost-effective installation process and instant hot water production.

What factors would you say have contributed to the company’s latest achievement?
There are a number of factors which have contributed to our latest achievement. As we approach 40 years of pioneering heating technologies in Ireland and the UK, we have demonstrated our commitment to providing householders and installers with high quality, efficient and reliable heating products. This factor is complemented by the great team we have in place, who continually strive to provide the best products and service to our customers.

As a company Grant is no stranger to awards, can you tell us what other accolades you have received in the last year?
Towards the end of 2016 we were delighted to have our Grant Vortex range recognised by the Energy and Utilities Alliance statistics as the number one selling model in 2016. We were also very pleased with our success at Ireland’s Plumbing & Heating Awards this year where we won Best Marketing Campaign of the Year for our Think Boilers. Think Grant campaign, Joe Conroy was awarded Manufacturer’s Representative of the Year, and I was awarded the Overall Achievement Award.

The Grant team has been busy this year showcasing the company’s award-winning range of products both locally and in Europe. Can you tell us about some of the shows you have attended?
We have been very busy this year with shows including The Ploughing, Self- Build and the Architecture & Building Expo. For the first time this year we also attended the ISH show in Frankfurt which is one of the world’s largest trade exhibitions for water and energy technologies and we are heading to Paris for the Interclima + Elec trade event dedicated to showcasing smart solutions for energy efficiency, renewable energy and thermal comfort.

What does 2018 have in store for Grant?
We will be celebrating our 40th anniversary in 2018 which is a significant milestone for the company. Our expansion plans are also well underway and will continue next year. These include a further extension to our manufacturing facilities and the development of a state of the art innovation centre, customer services centre and training facility. Our R&D team is also working on more new innovative heating technologies so 2018 is set to be an exciting year for Grant!
