More upgrades from Pegler Yorkshire

Pegler Yorkshire is renowned for its product development and the leading company has announced an extension to the Tectite range as well as a new Terrier TRV.
Tectite, the leading push-fit brand by Pegler Yorkshire, has increased its range offering to now include additional valve configurations benefitting from push-fit technology.
The six new additions – including a 2 and 3 port manifold, service valve, straight tap connector 15mm and 22mm and elbow tap connector – all form part of the classic range and are recommended for hot and cold water services, low temperature hot water and heating applications.

Recently, Tectite became the first UK push-fit fitting to achieve the prestigious BSI Kitemark standard across its entire range including Classic, Pro and Sprint from sizes 15mm to 54mm.
Tectite has become the choice product for many installers due to its unique and unrivalled features, such as grip first grab rings which prevent any risk of full bore blow offs, pre-lubricated seals for reduced insertion force and a cooper, DZR brass or stainless bodies. The entire range is suitable for jointing with a wide range of tube materials, including copper, flexible metal, PEX and PB and a variety of steel including stainless and carbon. Additional features include non-demountable and demountable options.

TERRIER TRV
The new Terrier TRV is an evolution in the drive to provide greater flexibility, reliability and trust.
The design is a flawless slim profile which alters the airflow to an Active Air Flow Vent System whereby the elongated open vents along the body are now enclosed in favour of open vents on top. In addition, the body has been manufactured in a bright white colour with accent chrome trim, a larger easy grip and easy care surface finish. The operation has been radically altered to provide a more intuitive low friction mechanism which offers effortless turning making it easy for any dexterity.

Arguably the most radical change of the new Terrier is its performance. Enhanced by a pure copper element, the performance provides a faster response to temperature changes. Technical tests have shown that the new Terrier provides even better accuracy for temperature settings with a 33% lower hysteresis. Therefore, reaching comfort levels in a significantly reduced time when compared with other TRVs on the market.
The new Terrier TRV range is supplied suitable for 8, 10 and 15mm pipework and is also offered in a tamper resistant option. It fully complies with the requirements of EN215 – it is also “A” rated under the TELL scheme and meets Part L requirements.
