QRL Radiator Group - formerly Quinn Radiators - has just opened a brand new warehouse facility in Dublin to meet its expanding customer base.
With capacity for up to 2,500 radiators, the new facility will provide impressive product availability and even shorter lead times, with same-day collection on selected models.
Servicing around 80 merchants in the surrounding area, the Dublin warehouse will carry stock across all of QRL’s domestic and commercial heating range. This includes the hi-lo Compact and Barlo panel radiators which, says QRL, boast the best heat output and efficiency on the market. The popular Design by QRL portfolio will also be available while the facility will also hold stock for commercial heating and cooling specialist Merriott (part of the QRL Radiator Group).
Maura McCabe, QRL’s General Manager for Ireland, said, “With such a strong market standing and heritage here, our Irish customers are at the very heart of QRL’s operations so we’re very pleased to be bolstering our presence with the new Dublin warehouse.
“QRL radiators are well known for delivering the best performance, the best efficiency and the best value, so it’s crucial that we continue to evolve our service offering to match. The Dublin warehouse will help us do just that: letting customers benefit from more stock on the ground and a quicker, more efficient service overall.”
David Kerr, Chief Executive at QRL, continued, “After a full company rebrand earlier this year, we’re committed to positioning QRL firmly at the forefront of the heating industry and the launch of the Dublin site is an important part of our ambitious long-term growth plans for the Irish market.
“We’ve seen a significant increase in demand of late and having more local stock will not only help us respond effectively, but will also support our valued customers in growing with us as this demand continues.”
Based at the Kylemore Business Park in Inchicore, the new QRL warehouse is now open for collections between 7am and 3.30pm, Monday to Thursday, and between 7am and 1pm on Fridays. It is the second Irish facility for QRL, complementing a 20,000-radiator-capacity warehouse in Co Cavan.
