Vaillant launches spareCHECK App

Vaillant is making life easier for installers with the launch of the Vaillant spareCHECK App.
This dedicated support tool for installers and service teams allows them to quickly identify and highlight key parts of any Vaillant boiler that they are working on. Installers simply scan a product or part serial number to find the information they require and then quickly and easily order genuine spare parts. There is also the option of searching for the boiler manually through the searchable catalogue.

Installers are able to explore an exploded view of the boiler in which separate sections can be closely examined. From each boiler section, there is an option to identify specific parts and, with one click, users can bring up product lists, view additional part pictures and add the item to their watch list.

Once products have been collated onto a watch list, the part numbers can then be relayed onto a registered Vaillant Spares stockist to quickly order their parts.

The Vaillant catalogue library is the most in-depth viewing option for Vaillant boilers available on mobile and can be accessed both online and offline on Apple and Android devices. As well as installers, it is also set to prove a useful tool for merchants as well.

As a trade-only tool, the Vaillant spareCHECK app can only be used by verified users, with installers having to be registered with Gas Safe in Northern Ireland or RGI in the Republic of Ireland.
This will combat the growingtrend of unlicensed spare parts coming into the market and will give both installers and their customers added reassurance that only genuine Vaillant spare parts are being utilised.

Catherine Russell, Ireland Director of Sales for Vaillant, explained, “Unlicensed spare parts are not manufactured to meet the latest regulations and standards, and that is something that is becoming a growing concern for the market.

“Through the spareCHECK App, we are giving our installers peace of mind that they are ordering genuine parts. The new app is also simple to use and gives installers access to a wealth of important information which they can then use to order a genuine part from one of our registered stockists.”

Catherine added, “The spareCHECK App was originally launched through Twitter but it has quickly become popular and we look forward to seeing more installers and merchants utilise the benefits of this handy tool.”
