Developed to deliver improved water performance in small to medium-sized properties with one bathroom, the Greenstar 30i combi boiler features a 30kw output and combines a range of specifically crafted components in order to enhance performance levels. The Greenstar range is fully compliant with the latest Energy related Product Directive (ErP) requirements and has subsequently achieved 94% efficiency rating, or an A rating under the new legislation.
Resulting from installer feedback, the Greenstar 30i has been engineered with easy installation and servicing in mind. The boiler includes high performing technology encased in a compact design, specifically engineered to fit in variety of locations where available space is often limited. For trouble-free installation and servicing, all products from the range are supplied with a wall mounting jig providing pre-plumbing and rear piping as standard. Additionally, all major component within the boiler being located at the front of the boiler for easy access. One of the major benefits of the i series is the “non-Freeze” design of the condensate siphon. It is permissible to install an uninsulated pipe external to the property, to the maximum length of 3m, which has been proven not to freeze even at temperatures as low as -15c.
The entire Greenstar range has been designed to be as straightforward for homeowners to operate as possible. An upgraded Heatronic control panel presents an all-improved interface, and contains simple boiler controls as well as a clear information display for text descriptions and error codes. Meanwhile Worcester has also made accessible an optional ‘plug and play’ weather compensation kit, adding a simplistic yet effective level of climate control to the system.
In the latest Which? Boiler report, the Greenstar range was awarded with an overall rating of 79% and achieved the maximum star rating in five of the six categories. With participants in the survey consisting of 10,779 homeowners and, for the first time, 110 Which? Trusted Trader heating engineers, the results prove the range is not just popular with installers, but with homeowners too.
