£11,000 raised for air ambulance

The National Institution of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Managers (IHEEM) has raised over £11,000 for the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance.

“We are delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile charity,” said Lucas Vogan IHEEM committee member and Technical Sales Manager, Geberit Sales Ltd.

“The money was raised through our recent bi-annual conference at Titanic Belfast, which proved to be a great success. We wish to thank everyone who gave so generously.”

This year’s conference, which included guest speakers addressing at all aspects of healthcare and estate management, also celebrated 75 years since IHEEM became a recognised professional institution across Great Britain and Ireland.

Since it was founded in 2017, the NI Air Ambulance Service has rescued over 500 people and saved many lives as a result of speed and immediate patient care. However, the service relies totally on fundraising and donations, so this generous cheque will help the charity continue its important work.
