Eamonn Murray is the Watershed/ Plumbing manager at MacBlair Coleraine. “We’re constantly striving to improve our offering to customers. A couple of years ago, we refreshed our Watershed showroom. It’s now a fresh, bright space that’s attracting new customers all the time. We also carried out a bit of remodelling to our plumbing counter, just to make sure our products stand out and customers see exactly what we have to offer.” A vast range of products marks MacBlair Coleraine out from its competitors. “We carry a huge range of stock; we try to offer products that other trade counters perhaps wouldn’t. We’re also on a site with a builder’s merchant, which is part of the MacBlair business. That close proximity is an additional benefit to the customer.” If a customer is after building materials, the team at MacBlair Coleraine can assist.
“For example, if a customer has ordered a boiler but also needs slabs, we can source them from the builder’s merchants and all will go in the delivery van. We really are a one stop shop. We try to meet all the needs of the customer.” Customer satisfaction is at the heart of the branch and is something all members of staff takes seriously. “We have 11 members of staff and each and every one is trained to the highest standard. That’s another aspect that makes us stand out – customers keep coming back to us because of our staff and the time they take with each customer, ensuring they leave with the right product for the job.”
With three delivery vans on the road, customers can be sure of a quick turnaround. “Even with last minute orders, we try to ensure customers get their delivery as quickly as possible. We have access to a wide range of stock and so can get orders out promptly.”
The branch’s impressive range of free-standing baths are proving very popular with customers at the moment. “They’re really well priced and are very good quality so they’re flying out the door. Cost is another area where we’re very competitive. We offer our customers quality products at the best price and that’s why we have such a high level of repeat business.”
