Bassetts bathrooms for Barnardo’s

The house in East Belfast provides a home for up to six primary school aged children who are in the process of being placed with long term foster parents.

Bassetts MD, Alan Wright, said, “When Barnardo’s contacted us to say they wanted to upgrade the children’s bathrooms and asked if we could help we were only too delighted. As a corporate partner of Barnardo’s we decided to give them as a gift as a way of supporting Barnardo’s fantastic work. We were able to work to their requirements without compromising on design or quality and it is great that the children can now enjoy these high-spec luxury bathrooms.”

Barnardo’s NI Director, Lynda Wilson, said, “The children who live in Children’s House can be with us for up to two years. The house is their home and having these bathrooms lets them know they are valued. They especially like the mirrors with touch sensitive lights, the walk-in showers and pearlescent mosaic borders which they describe as crystals. We are very grateful to Bassetts for their extremely generous support.”

Since 2017, Bassetts have been a charity partner of the children’s charity through its parent company Saint Gobain Building Distribution.
