MasterTherm is one of the largest, specialist European manufacturer’s of heat pumps with a wide variety of units available from Air Source, Ground Source to Indoor Air Source units. Not only do they design and manufacture heat pumps for domestic and industrial customers, they continue to monitor and optimise a system over its lifespan. MasterTherm Ireland distribute their heat pumps directly to contractors.
Vincent Broderick, MasterTherms’ Head of Business Development for Ireland, says, “We’re looking to grow our partnership programme with domestic heating contractors around the country. Specifically, installers who want to promote a design solution based heat pump system, not an off-the-shelf heat pump that anybody can buy from a merchant or general store. We don’t sell via merchant distribution channels.
“While we can offer unique district heat solutions to developers that are not available from other heat pump manufacturers, our target market is the individual contractor who works on bespoke, one-off, self-build residential projects.
“Our partner installers don’t need to compete against a myriad of other guys who just buy products off the shelf.
Instead they get bespoke design, support, drawings supplied to them and a product that comes with up to seven years warranty – which no other heat pump manufacturer offers. We can offer that because we have the ability to continually monitor the product online. That’s peace of mind for the contractor and for their client. All our products are SEAI approved in the ROI and qualify for government grant support for energy efficient heating upgrades.
MasterTherm are pioneers in heat pump technology which provides a full range of benefits to the end-user:
• Exceptionally quiet – Their new DC fan means low noise generation
• Extended seven-year warranty – Mastertherm offer a long warranty as they stand behind their connected heat pumps
• Maximum control – Their connected heat pumps offer clients full online control of their system via the MasterTherm app
• 100% European – All heat pumps are designed and manufactured here in Europe
• Inverter technology – The inverter with electronic expansion valve increases the lifespan of their heat pumps
• Reduction in fuel bills – The technology used in MasterTherm’s range of heat pumps offer additional savings compared to their competitors in the Irish market
“Our USP is that we are there from design through to final delivery, commissioning and continuously via online product monitoring. So the relationship with the customer is from cradle to the grave.
“There’s no distributor margin, so our partner installers are saving right away. A direct relationship with the manufacturer and distributor means they have the support of training and on-going technical support. We bring projects to our partners as well. We get enquiries from the public on an on-going basis which we then send out to contractors to price.”
The quality and long life-span of all MasterTherm systems is at the heart of the business. For this reason they only use components of the highest quality guaranteeing that each unit is assembled under strict supervision insuring optimal performance and longevity.
As previously mentioned, each installed unit is closely monitored via internet allowing MasterTherm engineers to continuously optimise system performance and identify potential issues at the earliest possible stage. Users also have the ability to control and monitor units from the Web, iPad or smartphone.
MasterTherm Ireland run a committed Partner Programme ensuring the design/installation and customer aftercare meets a very high standard. They are continually building a partner network providing on-site training at their global HQ in Prague and regional training on specific training aspects around Ireland.
“The partner programme works as a very efficient ECO-system where we all support each other by bringing projects and opportunities to each member in the programme,” says Vincent.
“To join our partner programme contractors can contact us at: [email protected]. We will arrange a meeting with our technical team to discuss the opportunity of becoming a MasterTherm Partner.”
