Daikin Ireland hosts Home Energy Innovator Forum

Daikin Ireland has hosted a successful Home Energy Innovators Forum at Cliff At Lyons, Kildare.

Daikin aims to inspire technological change and, as a means of continuous improvement, the company hosted this creative event to gain insights from the innovators of home energy in Ireland, including architects, consultants, developers, representatives of county councils as well as other industry partners.

The event also allowed Daikin to highlight the forthcoming launch of the latest generation Altherma 3 space heating and domestic hot water system.

Delegates engaged in ‘design thinking’ with brainstorming sessions and idea gathering forming the basis for discussions. Teams of five were then selected, with each one tasked with coming up with ideas that could be rolled out to the public. The winning team even won the chance to stay at Cliff at Lyons.

This event is viewed as the start of the conversation, with Daikin evaluating and collating all the various ideas in a bid to develop and grow them through online forums.
