The online based learning platform has been developed for merchants, plumbers and installers and provides the opportunity to complete product and installation courses at any place or time.
For many years Grant has been welcoming plumbers and installers from across the island of Ireland to its state-of-the-art training facility in Birr, Co Offaly to take part in various training courses, including the highly popular one-day advanced installer heat pump course. The launch of the new Grant eLearning Academy means that installers and plumbers can complete the same heat pump course virtually, from the comfort of their own home.

Commenting on the launch of the new Grant eLearning Academy, trainer Keith Scully said, “We are delighted to launch the Grant eLearning Academy and diversify our training offering. The advanced installer heat pump course has always been a firm favourite amongst plumbers and installers and to now have the course available on demand means that the course can be accessed by more users and at a time that suits them best.”
By registering to participate in Grant’s eLearning Academy, those in the heating trade will have access to both beginner and advanced Aerona3 training, along with additional Grant training courses and resources.
The free of charge advanced installer heat pump course is a twelve-step course that can be completed by plumbers and installers within roughly five hours, similarly to the interactive on-site training. As the course is on demand, it provides freedom for the user to complete the course in their own timeframe. The advanced installer heat pump training not only guides those in the trade through product and installation information on the Grant Aerona3 R32 air to water air source heat pump, but also includes installation guidance on Grant’s impressive heat emitter range.
Keith adds, “On completion of the course and achieving a pass in the course assessment, plumbers and installers will be awarded a downloadable certificate to document their success. Most importantly, the advanced installer heat pump course will leave installers and plumbers feeling fully equipped and ready to complete full installs of Grant’s Aerona3 R32 air to water air source heat pump, Grant Uflex underfloor heating and Grant Afinia aluminium radiator ranges.”
