Following on from this, Heat Merchants has launched a comprehensive After Sales Service, to provide installers with a single point of contact for warranty and technical queries across the product range from boilers to heat pumps. The After Sales Team will answer any queries, offer technical guidance over the phone and provide on-site technical engineering services, with the aim of resolving any issues as quickly and efficiently as possible, minimising any disruption to both the installer, and in turn their customers.

Heat Merchants has also made two recent appointments – Mark Walker as Sales Director and Pat Smith as National Technical Services Engineer.
Mark will lead and manage the various aspects of the sales division at Heat Merchants, including the 31-branch network, the team of Business Development Managers, the Technical Services and After Sales teams. Mark has over 20 years’ experience in the Travis Perkins Group. He began his career working in the yard and was promoted a number of times, having been employed in positions including Branch Manager and Regional Director, before becoming Sales Director for North England and Scotland.
Pat has been working in both refrigeration and mechanical services for over 19 years and has considerable experience in planning, design, installation, commissioning and after sales services for the industry. He has particular expertise in renewable energy solutions and is both RGI and F-Gas registered. As part of his role, Pat will be managing the After Sale Services including the call support team and the nationwide network of service engineers.
