The key objective is to educate installers on the importance of bunded oil storage compared to more widely used single skin oil storage tanks and on correct installation practices to help ensure that home heating oil is contained in the most safe and reliable way that will prevent any potential leaks causing environmental damage and undue stress for home-owners.
Open to all installers, the free Kingspan Better off Bunded Training Course is part of a wider awareness and education campaign in support of best practice offered by OFTEC who are the leading home heating oil experts in the UK and Ireland recommending a bunded only solution.
The online course is free to complete and contains five modules covering the future of home heating oil storage, key features of Kingspan bunded oil tanks, tank positioning, step-by-step installation guidance and servicing. If completed correctly the user will receive a Kingspan Better Off Bunded certificate and a free Kingspan branded jacket*.
