Waterford Stanley has announced the appointment of Donal Reilly as National Business Development Manager Renewables. Formerly a Regional Sales Manager for a manufacturing company that provides heating systems including renewable energy products such as heat pumps and solar thermal panels, Donal brings a wealth of experience from his work in the renewables sector.
Prior to this, Donal started his own business in 2008, called Thermasol, supplying and installing renewable energy products such as air-to-water heat pumps, geo-thermal heat pumps, underfloor heating and solar panels. He’s also lectured part-time in the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology, delivering HETAC accredited courses to tradespeople on heat pumps and solar thermal panels.
With his new role, Donal will be responsible for positioning Waterford Stanley as one of the most recognised and popular heat pump brands in Ireland. Commenting on his new role, Donal said, “I am delighted to join the team at Waterford Stanley. Any product with a Stanley badge has quality and longevity, and I hope to bring my experience to the role in order to continue the high level of quality and service that Waterford Stanley has achieved over the last 80 years.
“My role is to not just provide our heat pump, it is also to provide a service to everyone involved. In this role I am in a way, a project manager at the disposal of all parties involved in a project.”
Donal holds a degree in Civil Engineering and HETAC qualifications in heat pumps, solar thermal panels, PV solar panels and Building Energy Assessments.
