New look for Heiton Buckley

Heiton Buckley, Ireland’s leading supplier of doors, floors, bathrooms, garden, plumbing and heating products, officially unveiled its newly refurbished branches in Monaghan and in Castlebar, County Mayo.

In Mayo, GAA star, Andy Moran; CEO of Grafton Merchanting ROI, Patrick Atkinson; Heiton Buckley Castlebar Branch Manager, Mick Kan; and long- time customer, Mick Duane, officially cut the ribbon and kicked off the celebrations at the unveiling.

As part of the newly refurbished Castlebar branch, the showrooms have doubled in size allowing customers to have a more-hands on experience with the products. New features include new shelving, a stunning new state- of-the-art bathroom showroom, and a door and floor display which houses the latest styles and top brands on the market.

Heiton Buckley Castlebar has been supporting Mayo and the surrounding area with high quality products and unrivalled customer service since the 1970s. For over 40 years, Heiton Buckley has worked hard to source the best quality products to support the needs of its community, catering for local builders and DIY enthusiasts in the area.

Currently, the branch employs 25 highly trained merchanting specialists across a variety of product groups and over the last 40 years the company has been involved in some of the most recognisable construction projects across the county including Mayo General Hospital- Cystic Fibrosis Units; community swimming pool in Ballyhaunis; upgrades to the Museum of Country Life, Turlough, Castlebar; Quay Community Centre, Westport and An Post Sorting Office in Ballyhaunis.

MONAGHAN
The official opening of the newly refurbished branch – which included a live broadcast by Northern Sound’s Joe Finnegan Show – was carried out by GAA star, Conor McManus; CEO of Grafton Merchanting, Patrick Atkinson; Branch Manager, Cora Maguire, and building contractor and longstanding customer, Gary McPhillips.

Located in Milltown, the branch was originally opened in November 1984 as Pattons of Monaghan and was owned and operated by David Patton before being acquired by Heiton Buckley in October, 1996. Now the newly revamped branch, which employs 14 people, has been completely transformed to offer customers more products, a better customer experience and a more accessible layout.

Overall the showrooms have doubled in size allowing customers to have a more hands-on experience with the products and includes a stunning new state-of-the-art bathroom showroom, and a working display of a heat pump and gas boiler, both of which improve energy efficiency throughout the home.

Over the last two decades, the Monaghan branch has been involved in a number of leading projects, including the new Monaghan Institute Education Campus; the new Monaghan Fire Station; the renovation of Monaghan County Council buildings; Monaghan Courthouse; and the refurbishment of the Westenra Hotel and the Hillgrove Hotel.
