It’s perhaps fitting, given the current crisis, that the innovative PGF-30 Gas Interlock System and Gas Detection System is contactless. In contrast with the vast majority of panels on the market, this highly cost-effective product, available from Hanley Controls Clonmel Ltd, does not require a key switch or keypad to lock or unlock the gas proving function.
Instead, the PGF-30 utilises 21st century technology in the form of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) contactless smart cards. No keys or codes to remember, just issue a swipe card to all authorised staff. “The PGF-30 is an excellent user-friendly gas proving system,” said Paul Fahy, Technical Director at Hanley Controls Clonmel. “The colour coded warnings are particularly beneficial and the RFID cards a great addition, making lost keys a thing of the past.”
A modular solution for commercial kitchen or laboratory gas security, the PGF-30 meets the very latest IGEM gas safety standards. The system’s many features also include both high and low pressure ranges using Direct Pressure readings, built-in E-stop, an Internal Sounder, and the potential to use up to 24 detectors on one addressable cable.
Throw into the equation the extra reliability and security that comes with having Gas Interlock, Ventilation Interlock, and Gas Detection all on one panel, and it soon becomes clear why the PGF-30 is so highly-regarded at Hanley Controls.
