Plumbex Dublin a roaring success

Held for the first time at the RDS Simmonscourt, PLUMBEX Dublin gathered the best in Ireland’s plumbing and heating sector for a record number of visitors from all over the country…

PLUMBEX Dublin felt right at home at its new address at the RDS Simmonscourt in Ballsbridge last September 7 and 8. The trade event welcomed an impressive number of 2,668 visitors from all over Ireland to see the latest innovations in the plumbing and heating industry from 75 exhibitors, with experts on hand showing every aspect of the sector in the country, from pipes, pumps and valves to energy efficient products and renewables.

Visitors gathered outside the venue event before the doors were open to check out 200 top brands and new products, as well as to enjoy exclusive show offers and the always popular freebies. There was great attendance at the event’s talks, which covered issues relevant to the industry today such as non-domestic as regulations an the Climate Action Plan. The fun activities featured in the Apprentice Challenges – with prizes over €1,400 – also contributed to the great atmosphere at the RDS. The show’s exhibitors agree PLUMBEX Dublin was a great opportunity to meet and develop relationships with their distributors and end customers face to face, promote their brand, and showcase new products and all their expertise. The trade event was also THE place to do business, as companies received interesting enquiries and numerous orders during the show.

APHCI at PLUMBEX Dublin

Richie Burke spokesperson for the Amalgamated Plumbing and Heating Contractors Ireland committee, also attended PLUMBEX in Dublin. A long-standing member of the plumbing and heating community in Ireland, Richie enjoyed the opportunity to meet old friends and see first-hand the latest innovations in the sector. “PLUMBEX was an excellent show, well worth a visit. There was something there for everyone. We had two very busy days; it was great to reconnect with the old guard while welcoming the many new faces interested in coming onboard. If you have not already done so please join APHCI; we need your support. Standards, laws and regulations in our sector, are changing fast, the industry needs a strong voice backed by a strong membership.”
