Safe Gas success continues as company expands

The changes are a long way from the company’s humble beginnings in the kitchen of husband-and-wife team Paul and Victoria Scott in 2004.

The new showroom at 14a Carnmoney Road, Newtownabbey, showcases the latest gas fires, gas tumble dryers, gas hobs and gas boilers – all of which are supplied and fitted by Safe Gas to provide complete peace of mind.

The range of gas fires includes a full range of contemporary and traditional designs suitable for a range of budgets and requirements. These solutions comprise gas fires for homes with and without a chimney and include ribbon fires, flueless gas fires, chimney fires, open flame fires, glass fronted fires, room sealed fireplaces, balanced flue gas fires, high efficiency gas fires.

Showroom Manager, Perry Clements, is the latest addition to an experienced team that also includes Contracts Manager, Peter Lynch, and he is enjoying his role introducing customers to gas fires such as the Paragon Convector P1; Paragon 4 Series; Beckford Suite; Gazco Medium Marlborough Stove; Parogon P8 Modern Limestone Suite; Eko 55/30 Fire and Eko 50/70. The new showroom also includes the UC Living range of highly efficient tumble dryers.

The opening of the new showroom has been followed by a revamp of the Safe Gas website to accommodate mobile usage and update the details of the gas appliance products the company provides.

A recent radio campaign to promote the opening of the showroom, alongside the relaunch of the website, has worked superbly well and secured a marked increase in customers.

SOLAR PV
The expansion has continued with the introduction of a new service, Safe Solar. The company was recently accredited to carry out PV solar panel installations and has already completed its first projects.

These moves have strengthened a professional service that is backed by an experienced team. Paul has more than 16 years of experience in the plumbing and heating industry and, along with Victoria, the couple’s expertise has enabled the company to build a strong reputation for providing a fast and reliable boiler service and repair service to clients throughout Northern Ireland.

Paul explained, “As we became more established and recognised within the industry, this opened up a lot of new opportunities, including the opening of our new showroom and the launch of Safe Solar. Our main focus remains on ensuring our plumbing engineers are capable of completing the work to the highest standard and having the right office staff in place to help maintain the workflow coming in at a fast pace. This same dedication to a high quality service will also be in place in our new showroom and through Safe Solar.”

Victoria added, “We will also build our business by recruiting apprentices. As a local, family-owned business we endeavour to bring employment and training opportunities to our surrounding communities. We believe in growing our own timber by training out staff from the ground up through apprenticeship programmes and then further industry training as required.

“The opening of our new showroom and relaunch of the website alongside the launch of Safe Solar will offer even more opportunities.”
