In the early days of her sales career, she worked in the oil and gas industries for around 15 years before moving outside the sector where she was a medical equipment sales representative and then a commercial manager for a trade publication. However, Sharon is delighted to be back working in the plumbing and heating sector and is excited about her new role, which incorporates Wolseley Plumb Centre, Pipe Centre and Climate Centre.
“I am delighted to be back working in the industry and particularly for such a well respected name,” said Sharon. “We are able to cater for everything from parts, plumbing and bathroom suites through to commercial solutions.”
While a lot has changed in the industry since Sharon last worked in the plumbing and heating sector, one constant remains. “I’ve always prided myself on an ability to build strong relationships and that is something that is line with what Wolseley is all about,” she said. “I’ve spent the first few weeks of my job speaking to contractors and getting to know them. The feedback has been very positive and it gives me strong foundations to build on.
“Wolseley is a well respected name in the industry and while we have a strong selection of products, we know that it is our service that will make the difference. I’m lucky to have the support of a knowledgeable team who are all committed to giving our customers the best service.”
