Karl Niblock has recently joined the team at Turco and he believes the new installer loyalty scheme and website will help attract new customers.
Karl previously worked for an international Christian charity for a number of years but before that he had his own small business as a plumbing and heating engineer in Northern Ireland.
“It is the perfect fit for both the company and myself,” he said. “I’ve been hugely impressed with Turco and I’m looking forward to spreading the message about this local success story.”
The installer loyalty scheme will see installers rewarded with a £25 fuel voucher for every five boilers bought (terms and conditions apply). The offer applies to the entire boiler range including the Consul, Ambassador, Countryman and Senator.
Turco has also unveiled a new website that provides complete information on the company’s range of oil-fired and biomass boilers for both home-owners and installers alike.
“We more than punch above our weight and with the loyalty scheme we will be able to reward our regular customers but also attract some more new installers. We’re confident they will be impressed with what we offer.”
Coming from an installer’s perspective, Karl is well positioned to offer an insight into the Turco range.
“One of the first things I did to try and understand our range was take each boiler apart and put it back together again,” he said. “The quality and attention-to-detail in every component is of the highest standard. Our team of manufacturing engineers are committed to what they do and that shows in the end product.
“They are all designed with the installer in mind yet, just as importantly, each boiler delivers superb performance levels. It’s a complete package.”
Working directly with installers, Karl is looking forward to helping customers get the best out of the Turco range.
“I’ve been in their shoes and I know the challenges you face on site,” he said. “Having that depth of understanding means I can come alongside the installer in a way they maybe don’t expect from a salesman. I still enjoy getting my hands dirty, so questions about valves, two-pipe systems and head pressure are all welcome.”
Karl’s immediate remit is to grow the business in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
“I aim to talk to more merchants and installers in the Republic of Ireland who are keen to benefit from our quality product range” he said.
