Xylem makes plumbing easy

A cost-effective plug n’play system from Xylem, the new all-in-one Aquabox System for domestic and commercial clean water applications has been designed for transporting clean water with constant pressure. The system makes plumbing easy, with less work, creating more space and less noise for greater comfort.

Components of the Aquabox System incude:-

  • 300 litre and 500 litre tank
  • Lowara SC205 stainless steel submersible scuba pump
  • Auto Genyo controller
  • Ball valve and float
  • 25mm BSP brass connection

SCUBA Series

The Lowara SC205 Scuba, is a 5” close coupled multi-stage submersible pump (0.55kw) with electrical motor cooled by pumped liquid, which is FDA compliant. The Lowara Scuba can be installed in vertical and horizontal positions. The pump’s low noise tolerance, stainless steel structure, double mechanical seals system and engineered motor is designed for constant use.

The tank is manufactured from medium density recyclable polyethylene with UV light stabiliser for outdoor endurance, and is compact and strong. The tank’s lightweight design makes for easy transportation and installation.

GENYO Series

The Lowara Genyo electronic control and protection system designed with pressure sensors, delivers constant water pressure on demand. The Genyo enables automatic control of pump start-up and shut-down based on actual water demand, preventing any pressure fluctuations. The Genyo has built-in dry run protection and auto-restart.

e-HM

Also available from Xylem, the e-HM stainless steel series horizontal multi-stage pump is suitable for commercial and industrial applications, and is up to 30% more efficient than most similar pumps on the market. Pumping water in production-oriented applications such as washing, cleaning, food and beverage processing and large-scale refrigeration can be energy intensive, impacting both resource use and operational expenses. The e-HM pump offers a broad hydraulic range and a variety of configuration options that enables users to customise the pump to meet their specific needs, simultaneously improving performance and reducing Carbon Dioxide emissions as well as costs.

Constructed of AISI 316 stainless steel, the e-HM series offers six models as well as a one-piece or sleeve design, making it highly customisable. The product’s high-pressure boosting capabilities and space-saving footprint also makes it suitable for a variety of configurations across a range of industrial applications.

The e-HM series is built on the advanced hydraulics of Xylem’s reliable e-SV vertical multi-stage product line, which was introduced in September 2010. The e-HM series has a maximum flow rate of up to 127 gpm. A balanced impeller reduces axial thrust by 40% and a 20% thicker stainless steel pump body enhances durability and increases reliability. Reduced thrust and thicker pump bodies result in longer bearing and component life, which help to reduce the customer’s total cost of ownership by up to 30%.
